Mark Darcangelo
Mark Darcangelo is a certified K9 handler and trainer, and worked for several years as a law enforcement officer with his K9 partner, Rico. Mark has been recognized for his efforts to educate the public on the importance of K9s to law enforcement, and often provided public demonstrations to raise awareness and support. In addition, he and his K9 partner received a gold medal at the K9 Olympics. Mark founded The Grey Dog Group to continue his support of retired military and police K9s, especially dogs that cannot be adopted by individuals without specialized training. Mark is also a veteran of the United States Air Force and Army.
Rex
Rex is an 9-yr old Belgian Malinois who served multiple tours in Afghanistan as a Special Operations Forces Multi Purpose Canine (SOFMPC). He was recently retired due to age, but still has tremendous energy. He is adjusting well to retirement and loves to play ball or just hang out with his new family.
Nitro
Nitro is a 3-yr old Belgian Malinois who recently joined The Grey Dog Group family. He formerly served as a police K-9 and is now retired after failing to complete a recertification program. He has boundless energy and we are delighted to have him with us.
