Mark worked as a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Counter-Terrorism Federal Law Enforcement Agent (RET), specializing in foreign and domestic covert missions to collect intelligence and utilize his tactical knowledge to control hostile situations. Mark is a certified Instructor in firearms, law enforcement control tactics, tactical surveillance, and law enforcement fitness.  As a Department of Homeland Security Fitness Coordinator, he was responsible for training elite counter-terrorism agents. In addition, Mark is a certified law enforcement Armorer.

 

Mark specialized in domestic surveillance for multiple government agencies, supporting ongoing investigations involving terrorism. Prior to working as a Federal Agent, Mark served as a member of the District Attorney's Drug Task Force. He operated with the DEA's Entry Team and was responsible for the service of search warrants, high-risk arrest warrants, and structure raids, resulting in multiple high-profile arrests. Mark is a certified K9 handler and trainer, and worked for several years as a law enforcement officer with his K9.  Mark has been recognized for his efforts to educate the public on the importance of K9s to law enforcement, and often provided public demonstrations to raise awareness and support.  In addition, he and his K9 partner received a gold medal at the K9 Olympics.  Mark served in the United States Army on a Long-Range Surveillance Detachment (LRSD), and with the United States Air Force Special Warfare.
